Welcome to Red Door Playgroup

Red Door Playgroup is a in-home licensed family daycare now located in Bloomfield NJ. Starting Fall of 2022 our doors are open to families with children ages four months to two years old.

Philosophy

Red Door Playgroup was created to provide a nurturing and engaging home-learning environment for infants and toddlers.  The home-learning environment aims to support a child’s developmental growth in all domains, encourage natural curiosity, help children master new skills and foster a love for continuous learning through play-based methods. Play-based method encourages sensory learning and incorporates activities from the arts, science, nature, and music. Play-based learning is child-led.

SMALL CLASS SIZE

Our small class ratio 2:6 provides the perfect setting to teach children the skills they need to engage and participate in open-ended group play and structured activities facilitated by a teacher. Our goal is to support the child’s acquired play skills through repetition, reinforcement and a consistent daily routine. Through acquired play skills, children will learn self-regulation techniques, conflict solution and become more confident in their play through mastered social skills.
