Nature Base Play
Playing outdoors, particularly in natural play spaces, boosts children’s physical activity, and contributions to the child overall health and development.
Language
Creating a language-rich environment through baby sign language, dialogue, books, games, music and dramatic play.
Social Emotional
Helping to recognize emotions, strengthen empathy toward others, self-regulation, peer-to-peer interaction, and creating a sense of self through a strong playgroup community.
Cognitive/Physical
The goal is to stimulate brain development using manipulative materials, open-ended provocations, and sensory exploration. Support fine/gross motor skills through body movements, dance, manipulative materials, sensory exploration and daily outdoor time.
Self-Help
Encourage independent self-care skills through play, daily routine such as hand-washing, preparing family-style snacks, potty, nap, clean-up, etc.
